141 new cases of COVID-19 were reported on Sunday, along with 146 recoveries.

Eight of the new cases are in the south-central zone. 38 are located in the Saskatoon, 19 are in Regina, 17 in the northwest, 16 in the far northwest, 14 in the far northeast, 13 in the north-central zone, eight in the central-east, three in the northeast, two in the central-west, one in the far north-central zone, and one in the southeast. Three cases are pending resident information.

1,543 cases are considered active.

43 of the 44 active cases in the south-central region are located in the sub-region 'south-central 2', which is made up for Moose Jaw and the surrounding area.

154 people are in hospital, with 135 receiving inpatient care and 19 are in intensive care. 

VACCINE UPDATE

There were 1,662 COVID-19 vaccine doses administered yesterday in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 78,226.

The 1,662 doses were administered in the Far North East (218), Far North Central (22) Regina (24), North Central (214), North West (314), Central West (102), Central East (112) and South East (656) zones.  Data has been updated to include an additional 936 doses administered in the South East zone, 49 in Central West zone and 78 in Central East zone on February 26.
