The RCMP has released more information after a collision that took place over the weekend.

Just before 9 pm on Saturday, The RCMP received a report of a vehicle rollover on Highway 1 just west of Moose Jaw.

The RCMP located the vehicle that was westbound in the south ditch, and investigators confirmed that two people were inside the vehicle. One of the occupants was an adult man and the other was a 14-year-old boy.

The man driving the vehicle was taken to the Dr. FH Wigmore Hospital in Moose Jaw with non-life-threatening injuries.

The 14-year-old boy was declared deceased at the scene.

It is believed that the pair were traveling back from a hockey game at Notre Dame.

Moose Jaw RCMP is still investigating what happened with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP Collision Reconstructionist.
