In the September 30 COVID-19 update from The Saskatchewan Health Authority, there are a total of 14 new cases of the virus in the province.

Of those 14 new cases, one is in the North-East zone, eight are in the Saskatoon zone, one is in the Central West zone, two are in the Central East zone, and two are in the Regina zone.

That brings the provincial total number of cases to 1,913, of which 139 are considered active.

There are 13 more recoveries as well, bringing that provincial total to 1,750.

There are nine people in hospital. Eight are receiving inpatient care, and one person is in intensive care.

There has been a total of 24 deaths related to COVID-19 reported thus far.

To date, there have been 190,795 COVID-19 tests performed in Saskatchewan.

And yesterday there were 1,280 COVID-19 tests done.
