110 new cases of COVID-19 were announced Monday, as well as 207 recoveries, and no deaths.

Of the new cases, 6 are in the south-central zone, 53 are in Regina, 11 are in Saskatoon, 10 in the northwest, 10 in the central-east, eight in the northeast, five in the north-central zone, three in the far northeast, two in the central-west, and one in the southwest. One new case is pending resident information.

1,299 cases are considered active, and all 38 of the cases in the south-central zone are located in the sub-region 'south-central 2' which is comprised of Moose Jaw and the surrounding area.

137 people are in hospital with 107 receiving inpatient care, and 30 are in intensive care.

Variants of Concern

The government also noted that there have been 70 confirmed variant cases in the province, and 210 presumptive variant cases, with 185 of those being in Regina, and 10 in the south-central zone.

At this time, it's recommended that Regina residents - particularly those over age 50 - should not consider increasing their household bubbles to include 2-3 households up to 10 people. They should consider remaining with their current household only.
