The Saskatchewan Senior Fitness Association 55 plus Provincial Games will be coming to Moose Jaw this July and on Wednesday they announced their Ultimate Sponsor. Visit Moose Jaw has presented the event with $10,000 for the games.

David Wood is Chair of Visit Moose Jaw and believes the event will bring a lot of visitors to the community next summer. "Specifically for the tourism industry, this is a marvellous event."

"It brings a lot of people to Moose Jaw and it risks bringing a lot of people to Moose Jaw for the first time. They come for the event or they come because someone they know is entering the event and then they come and see what a great place it is."

The provincial games are also a qualifier for senior athletes to head the Canada games.
