The WHL announced the rest of their 2019-20 season has been paused until further notice.

The entire Canadian Hockey League, from coast to coast, is putting the season on hold until further notice due to concerns over COVID-19

The league said in a statement that it made the decision based on consultation with medical professionals and meetings today among the CHL's executive council and boards of governors.

The Moose Jaw Warriors have six games left this season.

The WHL takes the safety of our players, officials, staff, fans, and everyone associated with the WHL very seriously. We will continue to monitor ongoing public health developments regarding COVID-19. Our goal is to return to play when it is safe and reasonable to do so," WHL Commissioner Ron Robison said in a media statement. “We thank WHL fans and partners for your patience and understanding as we navigate this unprecedented time.”
