The Original 16 Cash League hit the pebbled ice for Week 2 action on Wednesday night, as eight games took over the Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre.

Five teams remain undefeated after two weeks of action in the league.

Danielle Sicinski's BTN Chartered Accountants rink improved to 2-0 thanks to an 8-2 win over Wade Gray and the Protec Video rink (1-1). Sicinski scored three in the second, stole two in the third, and then added three more in the fifth.

Warren Marcotte and the Fountain Tire/Keons rink won their second straight to open the season, rolling to a 7-1 win over KMS's Ben Gamble, who dropped to 0-2 with the loss.

A three-point fifth end helped Joel Jordison’s Seaborn Insurance rink improve to 2-0 this season thanks to a 6-2 win over Ryan Wenarchuk's John's Music rink, who are 0-2.

Ralph Courtnage scored two in the eighth end to allow his Terra Grain Fuels rink to pull off a narrow 7-6 win over Joe Gunnis and the EMJ Marketing rink. Courtnage is 2-0, while Gunnis falls to 1-1.

Three points in the third end ended up being the difference for Lorraine Arguin and the Easy Care Living rink. They improved to 2-0 thanks to a 6-3 win over Matt Froehlich and the JGL/Hawk's Argo rink, who dropped to 0-2 with the loss.

Stan Barnsley and the Protec Electric rink opened their season with a win on Wednesday, topping Bob Desjarlais' Kal Tire rink, 5-3. The loss dropped Desjarlais to 0-2 to start the season.

The David Gray rink picked up the first win of the season, scoring three in the third to win 5-3 over Makenna Simmons and the Paws N Play rink. Gray is 1-1, while Simmons is 0-2.

Murray Stroeder and the RA Garland Argo rink found the win column for the first time this season thanks to an 8-1 win over the Barb Wallace rink, both teams are 1-1 this season.

The Original 16 Cash League is on the ice every Wednesday at the Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre.
