Two words... fast and physical.

That's what the Moose Jaw Warriors are trying to keep in mind as they get set to play three games in three days this weekend.

The local team is also coming off a tough weekend where they double their Trans Canada rivals in points, the Regina Pats, on Saturday night before having things turn around and taking a loss on the road to the Prince Albert Raiders on the holiday Monday.

Forward Justin Almeida said there were some lessons that came out of the past weekend.

"We learned how much of your focus has to be on the little details in a game," explained Almeida. "In games where you're a little bit tired and you could mentally lose yourself if we don't come out ready to play in the third game of a third night than the other team can take advantage."

Knowing that the opposition can strike at any moment if they sense weakness, Almeida said they'll look to begin with a strong performance and attempt to keep that momentum through the full 60 minutes.

"It's knowing how other teams play in the first five minutes of the game where you need weather a storm or they're coming in off the road and coming off losses and they're going to push and give you a hard game and we've gotta be ready for it," added Almeida. "Every time you take a team lightly in this league they always surprise you. Any team in the league can win so we've got to prepare like they're one of the best teams in the league and being the best out of ourselves."

The Warriors kick the busy weekend off in Swift Current against the Broncos on Friday night at the Iplex. The pregame show will be on Country 100 starting at 6:40 pm. Following Friday night's game, the Warriors will hurry home for two-afternoon games at Mosaic Place, starting at 2:30 pm on Saturday and 4 pm on Sunday.
