The U10 Moose Jaw Mustangs lacrosse team came away with a bronze medal over the weekend, as they competed in a tournament in Regina. 

The Mustangs went undefeated through the first day round robin games on Saturday. They opened with a 1-1 tied against Standing Buffalo before tying Prince Albert 6-6. 

Moose Jaw rebound with a convincing 10-1 win over Estevan and finished the day with a 4-3 win over Regina Blue. 

The Mustangs finished up the round robin on Sunday with a 6-4 loss to the eventual tournament winners from Warman 6-4 and defeated Regina Orange 3-2. 

With a record of 3-1-2, the Mustangs finished third in the standings and played fourth-place Standing Buffalo for the bronze medal. 

Down 2-0 after the first period, the Mustangs would score seven unanswered goals to defeat Standing Buffalo 7-2 to win the bronze medal. 

The regulars season got underway this week and the U10 Mustangs are 2-0. They play Swift Current on Monday night and Regina on Wednesday night.
