Brayden Tracey's incredible rookie season for the Moose Jaw Warriors didn't go unnoticed by NHL scouts.

The Calgary product jumped up 52 spots to 21st among North American skaters in NHL Central Scouting's final rankings, which were released on Monday.

Tracey was 73rd in the midterm rankings in January.

The 17-year-old forward finished his first WHL season with 36 goals and 81 points, which both led the entire Canadian Hockey League.

There were eight WHL players listed in the top-31, including Vancouver Giants defenceman Bowen Byram who was ranked second behind projected first overall selection Jack Hughes.

Saskatoon Blades forward Kirby Dach is third, Lethbridge Hurricanes forward Dylan Cozens came in fifth, Kootenay Ice forward Peyton Krebs was ranked 10th, Kelowna Rockets defenceman Lassi Thomson came in 15th, Prince Albert Raiders forward Brett Leason is 25th and Edmonton Oil Kings defenceman Matthew Robertson is 26th.

The 2019 NHL Draft will be held on June 21 and 22 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.
