Thursday was a busy night in the Moose Jaw High School Junior Girls Volleyball League with ten teams in action at three schools here in the Friendly City.

At Central, the Gold Cyclones hosted a four-team round-robin, but they didn't get the results that they were looking for, going 0-6 in their three matches.

Central Butte had the best night, posting a 6-0 record. They beat Avonlea (25-17, 25-19), Rouleau (25-15, 25-17), and Central Gold (25-8, 25-12) in straight sets.

Rouleau's only losses on the night came to Central Butte as they beat Avonlea (25-16, 25-21) and Central Gold (25-11, 25-13) in two straight sets.

The meeting between Avonlea and Central Gold saw the Eagles win 25-10 in the first set and 25-18 in the second set.

Three teams hit the court at Peacock with the Central Red Cyclones putting together an undefeated night.

Central Red started by beating the Peacock Green Toilers in two straight sets (25-20, 25-19) and then they knocked off the Vanier Spirits in two sets (25-20, 25-18) as well to finish 4-0 on the night.

Peacock edged Vanier in the final match of the night, winning 25-15 and 25-17, to finish 2-2, while the Spirits were 0-4.

There were some tight matches at Riverview Collegiate during the three-team round-robin hosted by the Royals.

Riverview went the limit in their two matches. They started the night with a three-set win (22-25, 25-6, 15-6) over the Briercrest Christian Academy Cougars and they would finish the night with a three-set loss (25-17, 15-25, 15-7) to the Peacock Orange Toilers.

Peacock won in two sets (25-16, 25-19) over BCA.
