The Saskatchewan Rush will have their earliest start ever in the 2017-18 National Lacrosse League season.

The Rush will open their campaign on Saturday, Dec. 16 when they head to Toronto to face the Rock.

Their home opener is the next weekend when they host former goalie Aaron Bold and the New England Black Wolves on Saturday, Dec. 23 at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon.

Saskatchewan’s 18-game schedule will feature 10 against the West Division, including four against the Vancouver Stealth. They will also square off with their Prairie rival, the Calgary Roughnecks, three times, with the first meeting on Saturday, Jan. 27.

“It’s a tough schedule, but NLL schedules are always tough because there are no easy games,” said Rush GM/Head Coach Derek Keenan. “Playing five of the first seven games on the road isn’t easy, but our guys will embrace it and hopefully get back to being a top road team.”

Single game tickets will go on sale to the public on Nov. 1.
