Ty Roseberry hit a pair of three-run home runs as the Moose Jaw Miller Express snapped a two-game slide with a 10-8 win over the Fort McMurray Giants on Friday night at Ross Wells Park.

Moose Jaw had lost handedly, 21-7, to Fort McMurray on Thursday, but the Millers responded by hitting three home runs in Friday's win as they improved their record to 9-4 on the year in the Western Major Baseball League.

Roseberry finished 2-for-4 with two home runs and six RBI in the win.

He opened the game with a three-run shot in the bottom of the first inning to get the Millers out in front early.

Trailing 4-0 heading into the fourth inning, the Giants started to fight back, scoring two in the frame and then adding two more in the fifth to tie the game up.

Roseberry went to work again, smacking his second bomb of the game and cashing in three more runs during a four-run bottom of the fifth to put Moose Jaw in front for good, up 8-4.

Fort McMurray cut the lead down to two in the sixth, but another long bomb was the answer for Moose Jaw as shortstop John Prudhom belt a two-run homer, his first of the season, to make it 10-6.

The Giants would score singles in the eighth and ninth, however it wasn't enough.

Ryder Yakel earned the win on the mound for Moose Jaw, he allowed four runs on seven hits with five strikeouts and one walk over five innings of work.

Prudhom got the save, giving up one run on one hit in the ninth inning. He struck out two and walked one.

The Millers will head to Weyburn on Saturday for a showdown with the 11-0 Beavers and then they return home on Sunday afternoon to host the Regina Red Sox for a 2:05 p.m. first pitch.
