The Prairie Hockey Academy Cougars are still searching for their first win at the 2019 Canadian Sport School Hockey League Championship in Penticton, B.C.

PHA lost 2-0 to OHA Edmonton on Thursday to fall to 0-2 in Elite 15 Division pool play.

The Cougars outshot OHA Edmonton, 34-29, in the game, but they couldn’t solve goalie Jayden Dyce.

Moose Jaw Warriors prospect Nicholas Degraves scored both goals for OHA Edmonton. He broke up the scoreless game with two minutes to go in the second period and then added an empty net goal with 1:18 left to play.

PHA was 0-for-6 on the power play in the loss but went 7-for-7 on the penalty.

The Cougars will close out the round robin against the Burnaby Winter Club on Friday night at 6 p.m.
