Chantz Petruic had a big Tuesday night for the Yorkton Terriers.

The Moose Jaw product potted the overtime-winning goal for the Terriers in their 5-4 win over the Melfort Mustangs on Tuesday.

Petruic finished two goals and three points in the win, giving him 18 goals and 38 points in 29 games with Yorkton this season.

Fellow Moose Jaw product Branden Klatt also scored in the win for the Terriers, who sit at 18-11-1-0 to lead the SJHL’s Viterra Division.

Casey McDonald of the Moose Jaw Generals was called up to the Terriers for Tuesday's game as well. It was his fourth career SJHL game.

Also on Tuesday, Jaxsen Wiebe and the Nipawin Hawks lost 2-0 to the Battlefords North Stars.

Coming up on Wednesday, Wiebe, Jeremy Bisson and the Hawks will be in Kindersley, while Chase Lacombe and the Humboldt Broncos head to Wilcox to go up against the Notre Dame Hounds at 8 p.m.
