A four-goal second period helped propel the Moose Jaw Peewee A Warriors to another victory on Tuesday night in the Queen City.

Cole King and Layne Gadd had a hat trick and four points each to lead the Warriors to a 9-2 win over the Regina Rebels.

Trehvan McMorris also posted four points in the win, finishing with a goal and three assists. Kale Pratte chipped in with three helpers, Noah Thul and Brogan Bowes had two assists each, and Kai Spencer and Tayden Hardwicke scored the other goals for Moose Jaw.

Spencer and King scored just two minutes apart midway through the first period to open the scoring. The Rebels got one back but Gadd answered back only 55 seconds later to make it 3-1 for Moose Jaw heading into the second.

Gadd finished off his hat trick with two goals in the second, while McMorris and Hardwicke helped put Moose Jaw up 7-1 after two.

Gabrielle Kaban scored for the Rebels just five seconds in the third period, but that was all that Regina could muster. King scored twice for Moose Jaw to finish off his hat trick and seal the win.

The Warriors are now a Hockey Regina League-best 17-0-1 this season. They're off from league action until next Saturday when they host the Regina Royals at the Bert Hunt Arena.

In minor hockey action on Monday, the Atom A Warriors dropped a 5-2 game to the Lumsden Lions.
