The Moose Jaw Peewee A Warriors put together a dominating performance on Monday night in the Queen City.

The Warriors rolled to a 14-2 win over the Regina Bisons at the Cooperators Centre to kick-off their 2017-18 season in the Hockey Regina League.

Cole King had two goals and five points in the win, while Aiden MacDonald picked up a hat trick and four points and Jasmine Kohl scored twice and finished with four points.

Chance Cole also scored twice and picked up an assist, while Layne Gadd had one goal and three assists.

Regina actually opened the scoring with a power play goal midway through the first period.  Moose Jaw was able to tie the game with King’s first of the game just three minutes later to send the game into the second tied at 1-1.

It was all Moose Jaw in the second however as they struck for eight goals, including two on the power play, to pull away for a 9-1 lead.  They added five goals in the third period, including two with the man advantage and one shorthanded.

Jacob Michelson, Nolan Kearns, Mac Simpson and Marc Belanger also scored in the win for the Warriors.
