The Moose Jaw Padres still have playoff hopes heading into Sunday after splitting their final two round-robin games on Saturday at the 2018 Western Canada Senior Men's Baseball Championship.

The Padres scored a 7-3 win over the Saskatoon Outlaws on Saturday afternoon at Ross Wells Park for their second straight win, but they couldn't carry the momentum into the night game, falling 8-0 to the Border All-Stars.

A win in that final game would have put the Padres through to Sunday’s final, but they now need the Prince George Grays to knock off the Border All-Stars on Sunday morning to lock-up a spot in the tiebreaker.

In other action on Saturday at Westerns, the St. James A's improved to 3-0 with a 15-2 win over the Border All-Stars and an 11-2 win over Prince George.

Coming up on Sunday morning, the A's face the Outlaws at 9 a.m. and the Grays battle the All-Stars at 11:30 a.m.

The tiebreaker game will be held at 2:30 p.m, followed by the final at 5:30 p.m. If no tiebreaker game is needed, the final goes at 3 p.m.
