Moose Jaw's Brooklyn Nimegeers scored for Draft Day North America as they came out of the opening day at the World Select International Under-14 Girls Championship with a split of their two games.

Draft Day lost 2-0 to SHD Global in their opening game on Wednesday and then bounced back with a 3-2 come back win over the Italy Selects in their second game of the day.

Nimegeers scored Draft Day's first goal just 59 seconds into the second period. They would win in overtime on Mackenzie Alexander from Mississauga's second of the game.

Draft Day is back on the ice for two games on Thursday, they will face off with the East Coast Selects and Finland Selects.
