Moose Jaw's Rhett Gardner has been called up to the Dallas Stars and has played three games in the national hockey league.

Gardner hasn't recorded a point yet in his stint in the NHL but has been sticking up with the big club.

Gardner, 23, played four years with the University of North Dakota before signing with Dallas and making his pro debut with the Stars' A.H.L. affiliate in the spring.

He scored four goals and an assist in 11 games with the Texas Stars.
