It was an unpleasant weekend for the Moose Jaw Warriors as they struggled on home ice, falling Friday night 7-2 against Seattle and then 3-2 on Saturday against Brandon.

The team will now focus on an extended road trip and rookie Brayden Tracey says a pit stop Sunday in Lake Louise for some pond hockey will help reset their minds.

"It's a blast," said Tracey. "Going out there and seeing the view that we had playing outdoor shiny with our teammates and coaches was a blast. We got people going outside of their comfort zone and it was good to see that."

As they focus on seven games in 14 days starting Tuesday in Kamloops, Tracey says they'll need to lean on their veterans for guidance.

"We have a lot of games in not a lot of days and we have to learn from them on how to stay healthy and keep our body fresh," added Tracey. "We're (on a) four-game losing streak right now and so we want to get that off our back."

The road trip will take the Warriors through the B.C. and Central Divisions. Catch all the action on Country 100 starting with the PreGame Show Tuesday at 8:40 pm.
