It was a shutout each for the Moose Jaw Miller Express and Melville Millionaires during their doubleheader on Tuesday night.

The Millionaires took the first game 1-0 over the Millers, but Moose Jaw bounced back with a 5-0 win in the second game of the Western Canadian Baseball League double-bill.

The split puts the Millers' record at 9-8 this season.

The Millers and Millionaires will meet for a rematch on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.

A walk-off single by Tracy Warren won a pitching duel between the Millers and Millionaires in the first game of the doubleheader on Tuesday.

Jeff Nicolosi threw six two-hit innings for the Millers, striking out four without a walk, to keep the game scoreless heading into the seventh.

The Millionaires were able to work two walks and Warren’s single off of relief pitcher Nathan Slobodian to score the winning run in the seventh inning.

Moose Jaw was held to just three hits over the seven-inning game and left nine runners on base.

Michael Ross threw a complete-game shutout for the Millers to lead them to a 5-0 win in the second game of the doubleheader.

After getting shutout in the first game, Moose Jaw made sure that didn’t happen in the second game, scoring five runs in the first inning and rolling from there.

Darrell Doll had a two-run home run, Cole Warken singled in another run and Devon Farrell cashed in two more runs with a single to give Moose Ja a 5-0 lead after one.

Ross allowed just five hits and struck out five over seven innings. He walked two as he improved to 2-0 this season.
