Nick Lepine and Bryce Ducharme walked away with the annual Frosty Classic tournament title over the weekend at the Lynbrook Golf Club.

Ninety golfers teed it up with cool temperatures and stiff wind on Saturday morning, but battled throughout all 18 holes in the Ryder Cup style event.

Teams comprised of two golfers will play holes 1-6 in the best ball format, then holes 7-12 are played under the alternate shot format, followed by holes 13-18 under the foursomes format.

The team of Lepine and Ducharme shot a low round of 72, which left them tied with Bill McLean and Tim Peakman.  Lepine and Ducharme took the title via retrogression.

The ladies’ long drive was won by Doreen Heinbigner and the closest to the pin went to Jasmine Jackman.

On the men’s side, Owen Morhart won the longest drive, while Cory Hicke took the closest to the pin title.

The Lynbrook has been home to another pair of aces over the past week with both coming from the same golfer, click here for more.
