Moose Jaw's Jordan Logan and Team Saskatchewan came away with a split of their first two games at the 2018 Baseball Canada 21-and-Under Men's National Championship on Friday in St. Thomas, ON.

After Day 1 on Thursday was rained out, Saskatchewan hit the field for their first game against Nova Scotia on Friday morning, scoring 6-2 win thanks to a three-run fourth inning.

Logan was hit by a pitch to lead-off the game and after stealing second, he came around to score on a single from Ryker Toffan.

In their second game of the day, Logan and Saskatchewan would fall to the host St. Thomas squad, 6-5, to sit at 1-1 at nationals.

Logan went 1-for-3 with a run in the loss.

Saskatchewan will play a doubleheader on Saturday, going up against Windsor at 1 p.m. and then following that up with a meeting against Quebec at 4 p.m.

The playoff round goes on Sunday.
