Coming into this season, not many would have pegged Tristin Langan to score 50 goals, but the Swan River, Manitoba product has done just that.
Langan scored twice in the Moose Jaw Warriors' 5-3 loss in Saskatoon on Sunday to reach the milestone number.
Justin Almeida, who had a special night of his own on Saturday, set up Langan with 7:37 left in the second period for his 50th goal.
"It's been like that all year, [Almeida] getting me the puck and finding the back of the net, but it's nice getting the 50th and I can't do it without my teammates, my linemates -- [Brayden] Tracey and [Almeida] -- they're special players and they've really helped me up to this point," said Langan after hitting the mark on Sunday.

Langan is the 11th player in Warriors' franchise history to score 50 goals in a season. It's the fourth straight season that a Warrior player has accomplished the goal as well after Dryden Hunt in 2015-16 and Jayden Halbgewachs in 2016-17 and 2017-18.
Entering this season, Langan had scored 25 goals in his previous three WHL seasons, but the 20-year-old has stepped his game up to another level this season, sitting with 50 goals and 106 points in 64 games so far.
"I came in, I had confidence, especially it being my 20-year-old year, I've been around this team forever and knew that I was going to be put in a big role, so I'm happy that I'm succeeding this year," said Langan.
Langan played with both Hunt and Halbgewachs, and he said that he learned a lot from both players that helped him towards this season.
"You just wait your turn, learn from [players around you], you watch them and see how hard it is and I'm glad that I got it here," he said.
The Warriors will finish off the regular season this week with three games, starting with a trip to Brandon on Wednesday.
