Moose Jaw Warriors' defenceman Daemon Hunt is on the A list for NHL's Central Scouting. 

The rating means Hunt is considered a first round candidate for the 2020 NHL draft. Newly acquired defenceman David Homola has been listed on the C list, which indicates a ranking of the fourth round to the sixth round. Moose Jaw born goaltender Bryan Thomson of the Lethbridge Hurricanes is also on the C list. 

This is the first formal ranking for the draft. A total of 44 Western Hockey League players have been listed. 

Further rankings will take place throughout the season.The 2020 NHL Entry Draft will take place in Montreal in June of that year.
