The Moose Jaw Generals were limited to just 12 shots in a 3-0 loss to the Regina Pat Canadians on Wednesday night in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League.

Cole Sillinger scored early and Adam Kydd found the back of the net late in the first period for Regina as they opened up a 2-0 lead.

Ayden Third extended the Pat Canadians' lead to 3-0 late in the second period and then Regina shut things down defensively, holding Moose Jaw to just one shot in the third period.

Pat Canadians netminder Drayden Ramage stopped all 12 shots he faced for the shutout, while Moose Jaw goalie Jaxson Taupert turned away 29 of 32 shots in the loss.

The Generals are now 7-14-1-2 this season. They return to the ice on this weekend for a pair of home games as they host the Yorkton Maulers on Saturday and the Prince Albert Mintos on Sunday at Mosaic Place. Puck drops at 1:30 p.m. for both games.
