The Moose Jaw Generals opened the final week of the regular season with a 5-0 loss to the Swift Current Legionnaires at Mosaic Place on Wednesday night.

The loss snaps a two-game winning streak for the Generals, who fall to 9-28-2-3 on the year in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League.

Jacob Piller scored a pair of goals for the Legionnaires in the win, while Rin Beny, Hendrik DeKlerk and Mkyllan Couture also found the back of the net.

Swift Current led 1-0 after one and 3-0 after two as they out-shot the Generals 48-25 over the night.

The Generals will return to the ice this weekend to wrap-up the regular season when they host the Battlefords Stars on Saturday and Sunday. Puck drops at 1:30 p.m. at Mosaic Place for both games.
