Moose Jaw's Libby Epoch and the Saskatchewan Huskies had to settle for fourth place at the 2019 U Sports Women's Basketball National Championship.

The Huskies lost a heartbreaker in the bronze medal game on Sunday, falling 63-62 on a last-second shot that didn't bounce Saskatchewan's way.

Epoch finished with eight points -- six of which came on two early three-pointers -- two assists and two rebounds in the loss.

Sabine Dukate posted a game-high 15 points for the Huskies in the loss, while Summer Masikewich had another double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Dukate scored 10 of her points in the fourth quarter to help the Huskies fight to the final shot.

Sarah Besselink led the Gee-Gees with 13 points, six rebounds and four assists.

The McMaster Marauders won the national championship, beating the Laval Rouge et Or, 70-58, on Sunday.
