After 33 games over two seasons, Moose Jaw Warriors alum Dryden Hunt finally scored his first goal in the National Hockey League on Sunday.

Hunt fired in a shot only 2:51 into the third period of the Florida Panthers' 6-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings.

In his first 32 career NHL games, Hunt had registered five assists, but that first goal had eluded him. Hunt now has a goal and five points in 22 games with the Panthers this season.

Hunt played one season with the Warriors, scoring 58 goals, 116 points and winning the WHL's Most Valuable Player award.
