The Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre will see plenty of action this weekend as the 800 CHAB Youth Bonspiel takes over Downtown Moose Jaw.

"It's pretty exciting, we actually have 24 teams total, so we have 10 teams that are Under-18 and 14 teams that are Under-15," said Rhonda Wenarchuk, the curling programmer at the Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre.

There are four Moose Jaw teams competing in the event, while teams from around the province will also be coming to the Friendly City for the two days of action on the pebbled ice.

"We've got teams coming in from Assiniboia, Lampman, Estevan, Saskatoon, Maple Creek, Swift Current, pretty much everywhere," said Wenarchuk.

The opening draw goes on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. There will also be games at noon, 2:30 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The action continues on Sunday with draws at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. with the finals being held at 3 p.m.
