The Vanier Collegiate senior boys' volleyball team was going to go down without a fight on Thursday night against Central.

Central would go on to win in four close sets, 25-19, 25-22, 23-25 and 25-22.

Meanwhile, Cornerstone downed Peacock 25-20, 25-18 and 25-21 and Riverview defeated Briercrest 25-10, 25-3 and 25-21.

There was only one game on the slate in senior girls' volleyball action on Thursday. Peacock defeated Briercrest in three sets 25-12, 25-15 and 25-8.
