The playoff picture is starting to clear up in the Original 16 Cash League after Wednesday's seven-game slate at the Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre.

Joel Jordison and the Seaborn Insurance rink locked up first place with a 6-2 win over Stan Barnsley and Team ProTec Electric.

Jordison and company finish the season with a league-best 16-1 record, which gives them the top seed heading into the playoffs. Barnsley finishes with an 11-6 record, which has him in fifth place.

Danielle Sicinski and the BTN Chartered Accountants rink rolled to a 10-3 win over Makenna Simmons and the Paws N Play rink.

Sicinski has locked up second place with a 13-4 record, while Simmons will play in a play-in game next Wednesday after finishing 0-17 this season.

Ryan Wenarchuk and the John's Music rink were off on Wednesday after finishing the season in third place with a 12-5 record, while Lorraine Arguin and the Easy Care Living rink pulled off a 9-2 win over Barb Wallace to finish at 12-5 as well.

Wallace ends the year with a 3-14 record, which has her tied for 16th place with David Gray, who lost 9-3 to Joe Gunnis and the EMJ Marketing rink on Wednesday. Gunnis is 8-8 after the win.

Warren Marcotte and the Moose Jaw Fountain Tire/Keon's rink gave up two in the eighth and lost 5-4 to Wade Gray and the Protec Video rink. The loss dropped Marcotte into a tie for sixth place with Murray Stroeder's Tax Team rink at 10-7.

Donna Ackerman and the Forged 365 rink improved to 8-7 with an 8-4 win over Ralph Courtnage and the Terra Grain Fuels rink, who fell to 8-9 with the loss.

Matt Froehlich and the JGL Hawk's Agro rink are 7-8 after pulling off a 6-5 extra end win over Bob Desjarlais' Kal Tire rink. Desjarlais finishes the regular season at 7-10 after the loss.

There will be make-up games played on Monday and then the playoffs start with two play-in games next Wednesday at the Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre.
