The series also ended on Thursday as the Regina Capitals skated to a 7-3 win over the Delisle Chiefs to capture their second straight Junior B provincial championship, winning the best-of-seven series in five games.

Moose Jaw's Braydon Delorme had two goals and three points, Dylan Jones also scored, while Joey Prebushewski picked up an assist in the win.

Delorme, who is Regina's captain, led the playoffs with 22 points for the Capitals.

Regina had seven Moose Jaw players in the lineup for the championship win with Jarid Morhart, Austin Miller, Rylan Blacklaws and Brodie Jarton all suiting up for the Capitals.

The Capitals went 12-2 during their run to title.
