The Peacock Toilers finished the regular season with a massive win over the Vanier Vikings on Thursday night.

The Toilers won 85-56 over the Vikings in the Moose Jaw High School Senior Basketball League's Senior Boys Division. The win pulled Peacock tied with the Vikings at 5-3 to end the regular season and giving the Toilers second place.

Spencer Adams scored a game-high 18 points in the win for the Toilers, while Logan Findlay added 16 and Hayden Tollefson picked up 12.

Javan Panko had a team-high 15 points for the Vikings.

No score was reported from the senior girls' game between the Toilers and Spirits.

The Central Cyclones’ games in Assiniboia were postponed due to the extreme wind chill. No word on when those games will be made up.

The playoffs are scheduled to open on Feb. 26 with the quarterfinals. In the girls' division, the fourth place Spirits will host the fifth place Rockets, while fourth place B.C.A. takes on fifth place Assiniboia in the boys' division.
