Trevor Benson shot a two-under 69 to win the Lynbrook Golf Club's annual Victoria Day Tournament on Monday.

There was 66 golfers that teed it up for the tournament under a sunny sky and perfect playing conditions.

Benson edged out Leighton Bearchell by one shot for the title. The low net in the first flight was Ryan Pulai with a 67, which was one shot better than Bob Desjarlais.

The Ladies Division was won by Linda Stirton with an 85. She beat out Ethan Akins by two shots. The low net for the first flight was Sharon Knittel at 72 and that was one better than Corinne Cobbe.

John Stirton took the men's second flight over Chris Hibbin via retrogression after they both fired 75s. The low net in the second flight was Josh Huschi with a 70.

The men's third flight was won by Edwin Bekar with a 79, which was three shots better than Steve Wright. The low net for that flight was Ken Jattansingh with a 68, he beat Keith Giene via retrogression.

Greg Fiddle captured the men's fourth flight with an 88, which beat Alex Cameron by one shot. The flight's low net was Bob Cobbe after he edged out Don McDonald by retrogression.

Paul Kwan's gross score of 81 was ten shots better than Bob Spencer to win the fifth flight. Low net was Bill Sawers at 71, which was one better than Ted Swenson.

Payton Longworth was the only junior that took part in the tournament.
