Camille “Cam” Tremblay, aged 88 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away peacefully on Monday, September 18th, 2017. He was a loving, kind and gentle soul who lived by a strong faith in God and will be dearly missed. Cam was born in 1929 in Courval, SK. He married Anna Hlady in 1952 and together they raised four daughters. Cam was devoted to his family and cherished the times spent with them. He worked 41 years for the Texas Refinery Corporation, and at retirement was the plant manager. He loved to volunteer and spent many years on the Separate School Board, Providence Place Foundation, as well as numerous other committees. Cam was an active member of St Joseph’s Parish and was proud to have been a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 60 years. He was recognized several times in his life for his volunteer work, including honorary life memberships of the Knights of Columbus and Providence Place. He loved to sing and was a member of the St Joseph’s Choir, as well as the Golden Voices. He was predeceased by his wife, Ann in 2009. Cam will be lovingly remembered by his daughters: Germaine (Bob) Lowe, Christine (Kim) Bartlett, Paulette Tremblay (Serge Dallaire), and Michelle (Paul) Dowling; grandchildren: Patrick Lowe (Alison McLaughlin), Michelle (James) Lowe-Puhach, Craig (Alecia) Lowe, Scott (Patti) Lowe, Ryan (Alicia) Bartlett, Leanne Bartlett, Stefane Guevremont, Melene Guevremont (Richard Ellison), Michael (Alisha) Dowling, and Andrea Dowling (Leonardo Husid); and twelve great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Pioneers Lodge for their wonderful care. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 23rd, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 1064 3rd Ave NW, Moose Jaw, SK. Father Hector Seville will be the presiding celebrant and interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, September 22nd, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Flowers are gratefully declined.
