Herman Schiml

Herman Schiml, of Mankota, SK passed away December 2, 2018 at Regina General Hospital at age 80. Herman is predeceased by his parents Hans and Dorothy, first wife Beverley (nee Lewis) (1969); two infant children (1962, 1966), son David (2006); sister Connie (2009) and her husband Ken Dyck (2010); sister-in-law Betty Baragar (2018), sister-in-law Isabelle Barker (2015); and father-in-law Jack Barker.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Judy (nee Barker); children: Kelly (Wendy), David (dec’d) (Tammy), Glen (Lorri), River, and Karen (Daryl); grandchildren: Steve (Melissa), Mike (Janelle), Nicole (Brody), Kerri (Darcy), Brooke, Cheyenne and William; great-grandchildren: Grayson, Ryker, Beaux, Ryeligh and Dallas; brother Henry Schiml, mother-in-law Millie Barker; brothers-in-law Allan Barker and Dennis Baragar as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Herman’s Life will be held Monday, December 10, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Mankota Agricultural Hall, with Ruby Sayers officiating.  Donations in memory of Herman may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation Inc.
