Oh, we yelled and we cheered and we hugged...high fives all around.  And, a large number of local business people smiled ear to ear.

It was late in the evening on Saturday when Jayden Halbgewachs scored in triple overtime to give our Moose Jaw Warriors a 3-2 victory over the Broncos in Swift Current.  The goal, the win, gave our Warriors another shot at winning the series and moving on to the next round with a win in game 7 on home ice tonight.

What's more?  That goal generated about $120,000.00 in ticket sales for tonight's game which is, by the way, completely sold out.

It also means fans will flock to downtown Moose Jaw tonight and stop to eat and drink and buy souvenirs.  Fans from out of town will gas up and buy snacks on their way out of town.  Some of them will stay the night in local hotels and motels.

When all is said and done, tonight's game 7 will give the local economy a boost of at least a quarter of a million dollars!  That was one big goal.
