What do you remember about going to the circus when you were a kid?

I remember the shows in the old Exhibition Stadium in Regina and then at the Moose Jaw Civic Centre.  I also remember seeing a number of shows under the big top next to the Civic Centre.  I remember the anxious moments when the performers risked their lives for our entertainment.

Times have changed.  We don't see the tigers, bears and elephants anymore.  The circus still features horses and dogs, though.  They're fun to watch.

And the people - the people from around the world, many of them born to perform, are still thrilling live audiences.

There's still some magic there for me when the circus comes to town.  It's here tonight. The Royal Canadian Circus.  Show time is 7 o'clock at our beautiful Mosaic Place in downtown Moose Jaw.
