He was everything I expected and more. Bob Dylan and his Band were marvelous in Moose Jaw on Saturday night at Mosaic Place.

It was surreal to me when the 76 year old Dylan walked onto the stage. The set, the stage, was perfect. Dylan played his baby grand piano and his 5 man band was flawless. Dylan rose from his piano on a number of occasions to stand up and sing. He danced. He had moves. He conducted his band.

Dylan did not speak to us. He's not there to make friends. He's there to sing and dance and play music. It's what he does. He did break out in smile several times. That spoke to me.

While some attendees were disappointed with the fact he didn't perform all the old hits, many I talked with seemed satisfied with what was a wonderful show.

Chances are that was the one and only time we'll see Bob Dylan in Moose Jaw. I'm happy it happened.
