How often do you complain about your job? I think most of us do from time-to-time but I know some who do it frequently. Social media seems to be their new venting place.

Today, an old acquaintance posted some inspiration he got from a former manager. The advice included to be a person who looks for solutions to problems because otherwise, you're a part of the problem. The other piece that might hit home for many is to never be a problem for the people who pay you. That makes sense, doesn't it?

It reminds me of days long ago when a co-worker of mine used to raise eyebrows when he'd walk away from those boss-bashing conversations around the water cooler. He just walked away...every time.

That guy has fun and laughs He works hard and plays hard - has for years. He's highly successful today. Some ridiculed him when he just walked away. He knew what he was doing.
