A day for the public to come together and honour those who fought and are still fighting for our freedom.
Mosaic place will play host to Moose Jaw's 99th Annual Remembrance Day Service on November 11th.
It will be a traditional service beginning with the marching of the VIP's, The Colour Party followed by the official wreath laying ceremony. Several dignitaries will be in attendance and the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 59 encourages everyone to attend this important event.
"We don't often think of the hardships of the men and women that serve today [and have] served in the past," said event chair, Sharon Erickson. "We don't often stop to think [and] pay respects to those who took the ultimate sacrifice, this is the one day we can take to pay respect."
Erickson also asks everyone be in their seated by 10:30 as the city-wide service gets underway shortly there after.
