Every holiday season, the local Kinsmen Club launches a program that offers safe rides home from Christmas parties in the Moose Jaw area.

The club is typically hired by the host of each event and will provide transportation for everyone at the venue. Two Kinsmen Club members are offered to drive home guests along with their vehicle.

"What we've been able to do year after year is give the guests the ability to go out and enjoy themselves and not have to worry about how their going to get home," says Program Chair, Kelly Thomspon, "We're filling up now, actually. I would encourage anybody who's thinking about booking the Kinsmen Safe Ride for their event to get in touch with us as soon as possible."

In exchange for their service, the club charges a base price of two hundred dollars per van which includes two drivers. Drivers will also accept tip donations with all of the funds going back into the community of Moose Jaw.

In addition to sponsoring local sports teams and events, the Kinsmen Club also donates money to Telemiracle and a variety of other organizations.
