Each year, the Business Women of Moose Jaw host the PRISM awards, which is designed to highlight the contributions and hard work of local ladies.

With seven different categories, there's a chance for many women to be featured in a special area that outlines where most of their efforts are geared towards.

"I think it's so important for us to get in the habit of really celebrating and uplifting each other so that these amazing works and accomplishments can be highlighted to serve as an inspiration for other women as well," Nomination Chair and member of the Business Women's group, Sharleen Froats said. "To reach for things and to contribute in ways that really feel great to them."

But time is running out to make sure their hat gets thrown in the ring; nominations for the PRISM awards close on October 31st.

There's an easy way to submit your nominations. All you have to do is fill out the form provided by the Business Women of Moose Jaw and submit a 300 word or less explanation on why they deserve the award.

Following the nomination process, the chosen candidates will be invited to the unveiling ceremony in January and then to the official PRISM awards in the Spring. That's when a group of women will be selected from each category to be a part of an elite group of ladies that use their time, creativity, hard work, and patience towards the betterment of the lives of those around them or themselves.

"We're really proud to continue this tradition of recognizing women within our community for a variety of really outstanding achievements and contributions. So that's really what it's all about is supporting and celebrating women within our community."
