Saturday night will be special for families in Moose Jaw as the annual visit of the CP Rail Holiday Train rolls into the city.

The train crosses Canada and the US every year, starting in the east and chugging it's way west spreading holiday cheer, festival season music, and support for local food banks along the way.

This year the train rolls into Moose Jaw Saturday night at about 7:45.  After the performance at the CP Rail yards downtown at Manitoba and Main the train will overnight in Moose Jaw before continuing it's journey west.

Entertainment this year includes country stars Dallas Smith, Terri Clark and Kelly Prescott.

All this week food bank donations were being collected at the Moose Jaw Co-op for the "Goodbye to Hunger" food drive.  That food will be turned over the Moose Jaw Food Bank at the trains visit Saturday night.  One person who is very glad they made a donation to the food drive is Karen-Anne Caverhill.  She won a trip on board the Holiday Train and will ride the rails from Regina to Moose Jaw.
