The Moose Jaw Museum and Art Gallery, the Crescent Park Foundation and the City of Moose Jaw are teaming up with two Saskatchewan chainsaw carvers this week in what will be the creation of some new works of art under the "Crescent Park Tree Project".  Trees that have reached the end of their lifespan are the targets.  Instead of simply removing the cotton wood trees in Crescent Park, Doug Lingelbach (right) and Kevin Bendig (left) will be working through this weekend to create their new works.  We are welcome to a special ceremony on Friday, August 4th at 11:00 am.  The two will be working on trees near the art gallery.

The two artists say they'll be working as "The Samadhi Collective" while they create.  CHAB's Rob Carnie asked Kevin to explain.
