Blizzard like conditions are expected to hit southwestern Saskatchewan this afternoon and the rest of the province overnight.

 

A winter storm watch is still in affect for all of southern Saskatchewan and much of central Saskatchewan today.

A low-pressure system is approaching from the southwest and is expected to generate strong southeasterly winds late this afternoon. Conditions will begin to deteriorate over southwestern Saskatchewan this afternoon and over rest of southern Saskatchewan tonight. Snow and strong winds are expected to combine for blizzard conditions over parts of the province.
