It was a question local historian Bruce Fairman needed to have answered.  And thanks to a number of local people and their input, including several on the Moose Jaw Dayz Facebook page, he's now satisfied with the final answers.

Fairman, the author of a number of Moose Jaw history books, has been spending time visiting with family and friends this summer in his old home town while never wasting a chance to spend some time in the archives at the Moose Jaw Public Library.

Bruce paid us a visit to talk about his latest project and the people and places he's learning more and more about.

Oh, and it was just a few days after our visit, Bruce wrote, "Want to mention I just found the Walter Little Cement Brick Plant homestead AND this was confirmed by his great-granddaughter.  So that is two for two - #1 The G.K. Smith brickyard, properly called the Moose Jaw Pressed Brick Plant and, #2 The Walter Little Cement Brick Plant.  Successful research trip."

Have a listen to our visit with Bruce Fairman.
