A MultiPlex meeting scheduled for last Friday was cancelled going directly against a motion passed by council to having a planning meeting by April 13th.

They passed a motion to force a meeting by April 13th but what's the point in passing a motion if they don't abide by it?

In just 2 weeks, the City of Moose Jaw must have an application into the provincial government or there will be no cash for the multiplex through the Building Communities Fund. April 30th is the deadline for applications but there's one big problem we face. There is no official project with no designs and location.

A meeting was supposed to be held on Friday to get started on that planning but it was postponed until Monday. We asked Councillor Dawn Luhning is she expects some positive steps forward this afternoon?

"To be honest with you no, I don't because I think that we need to get more information as to actual costs and we have to consider the plebiscite and that people voted in favour of this facility. We just need to get down to business."
